More religious bullshit. Not content with peddling the mortal remains of St Therese of Lisieux around the country like some bizarre act of penitent – though doubtless profitable – necrophilia, the Roman Catholic church now says people must pray every day if they wish to remain healthy ; this is the gospel according to the new Archbishop of Westminster, the Most Rev Vincent Nichols (pictured above). In his first pastoral letter to his diocese since he was installed in May this year, published today, Archbishop Nichols, who was appointed recently by former Hitler Youth and Nazi anti-aircraft gunner Pope Benedict XVI, warns that stable, fruitful and healthy lives cannot be achieved without daily prayer. And in a tirade well worthy of the most rabid, demented Islamic fundamentalist, he warns against the temptations of ambition, favouritism and hypocrisy in the “battles and wars” that people fight among themselves. Archbishop Nichols is starting his service as successor to that other well known champion of democracy and free thinking, the Vatican obsessed bigot and doctrinal pedant Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O’Connor. And by the looks of it, he’s going to continue spouting the same kind of ignorant, arrogant, narrow-minded, intolerant, luddite, medieval, nonsensical crap as his predecessor. Archbishop Nichols might be better instructing his deluded adherents to offer daily prayers for the sodomised victims of paedophiles employed within his own corrupt church.
